With the aid of the latest computer design programs, Conservatory Sales Ltd can produce detailed drawings along with visual reality pictures of before and after. For the more integrate projects are designers are trained in Auto cad applications that allow finer detail and any design concepts.

Our inhouse architectural technician has many years experience in all shape and sized projects, ranging through into hotel reception areas, swimming pools covers, large dining areas and even night clubs.

 

Many clients now request us to design conservatories and extensions to complement each other. The picture to the left was designed with a 2800mm extension to the rear and a further 3600mm conservatory extension, leading from the newly extended lounge. To the right hand side a gable effect was created to enhance the kitchen extension, thus giving the client a dining room/ kitchen. Double doors lead from the Kitchen and conservatory onto a slightly raised area, which lead down to a lower level circular patio with iron railings to finish the design.

 

The conservatory to the right was designed for maximum space and to create a dining room and social room, the size of the conservatory was taken to the absolute size to be under Building Regulations (30m2 internal floor area). Below is a photograph of the internal layout. Although the main house has Georgian Bar layouts, it was decided that the bars would look to heavy, so Oxford margins bars where installed.

 

A full solar controlled glass roof was installed with a easy clean coating to ensure that the roof keeps clean without the hassle of the client cleaning it. The solar controlled glass keeps out up to 75% of solar heat gain and gives up to 99% of UV protection, and benefit of the solar glass is that the internal panes have a coating which makes the glass as good as triple glazing in the Winter months. Without this glass the conservatory would be have been un-useable in the summer and winter months.
